Mach 5 guested on the Baystate Rock Show heard weekly on Boston rock giant
WAAF.
Famed radio hostess Carmelita invited Jeff, Dee, Jimmy and Mach into her
posh studios for a 4 song jam session and a lively interview.
Afterwards, Mach 5 hung around to take calls and give away "Meet
Mach 5" cds, take some pics, swig tequila and cut some station IDs.

MACH 5 IN RUMBLE ACTION
Having only been together for a year we were suprised and psyched to get invited by rock deejay Shred to compete in this year's WBCN Rock'n Roll Rumble. The contest is a Boston tradition that has spanned four decades. I competed (and lost) in Rumble #1 back in 1979 so this was a special treat for me. As the official program booklet pointed out: "Heck, Mach Bell is playing in this year's Rumble and he was in Thundertrain before there was a Rumble." Besides giving Mach 5 a great chance to rock in front of a whole new audience, the Rumble made it easy to hear and meet a lot of other great bands while we partied our asses off. Special thanks to our gracious competitors Scamper, Plan B and Taxpayer.

MACH 5 ON THE AIR!

When Mach 5 isn't out in the clubs performing, Mach Bell and his action team take to the streets promoting the hot new album "Meet Mach 5".
Mach was invited to appear on the WMBR "Late Risers Club" program to talk about the newest Lawless Records cd release. Hostess Joanie Lindstrom interviewed Mach and played some songs from the album while the action team took phone calls from listeners.
